I'm needing some leather and some textile trousers but i don't wanna part with money for something cack,

does anyone know where i can find old ride tests or ride recommended gear?

does'nt the gear in question wear the green triangle? just look for that :D

Ride did a big kit guide with a recent issue - might be worth seeing if you can get back copies. They've also taken to putting a lot of their top 5/10's of kit in recent issues... whsmith is usually good for browsing to see if the issue has what you want in it...

I love the way RIDE does reviews, I wish we had rags in the US that reported that way. some of the gear & bikes that are reviewed are available in the US , but many times not.

Magazines here have to be "politicly correct" and not offend anyone, they end up being promotional to their advertizers regardless of any quality or value. most gear comparisons are regurgitated corporate press releases
