Engine casing paint cracking

hi all i got my sv k5 a couple of weeks ago and have only done 400 miles but when i was cleaning it i noticed the engin paint (near where the engin no is) was starting to crack and looked like it was starting to chip off.

is this normal?? would this be coverd under warrenty or am i being petty and just picking faults??

i havent been racing the bike or anything just stuck to the dealers advice don t go over 5000 rpm until the first service at 600 miles.

any help would be great

should'nt be cracking off at that mileage? i'd complain  you prob would expect it after a few years!

take it back to the dealer & he/she should sort it out

My k5 shows a few signs of this on one side of the engine. A main single crack in the paint. I was not bothered about it until now :? Done 1000 miles so far. I think these bikes are just made to a price. Maybe the dealer can supply the exact colour heat resistant engine paint to touch these up ?
