Accident - A23 Briton Road Coulsdon

Pointy Siver SV650S(Remus exhaust) involved in an accident with a car. I don't know if it's a member of the forum but normally nod/wave to each other as we go past normally about between 6 and 6.30 PM around the Coulsdon area with him heading Northwards.

Seem to be in a bad way as he was stretcherd onto the ambulance with a drip on. Traffic was stopped for quite a while and for over 20 mins while waiting , the Ambulance was still there (presume trying to stabilize his condition. Ambulance still there when traffic was finally allowed to go through and I left.

I did have a brief word with the driver of the other vehicle involved but due to having my ear plugs did not quite make out exactly what happened but he did make out 'I didn't see him'

Who ever you are Bud hope it was not as bad as it appears and my thoughts and prayers with you and family .

Cheers

Hope the guy is ok.

I thought that I would take that road home rather than the A217 as I normally do (black, loud K5, say Hi if you see me). Must have just missed it.

It's about time that all new car drivers took a CBT to raise awareness of bikers. I know that it did my driving a lot of good.
