Aug bank holiday weekend

Well, seeing as my cat's not dead yet it looks as though I'm probably not going to be able to go away for my annual long weekend of tents, booze, pointy sticks, fur and rats... :(

Are there any rideouts planned that I might be able to tag along on to cheer myself up?

:)

Heh. :)

Spoke too soon... my poor little bone bag is having probs eating and has lost LOADS more weight... I guess I'll have to see what the vet says.

How to come to terms with snuffing her little life out when it comes down to it?... I don't think I'll even feel like going away if I have to have it done this week.

One of life's nasty little dilemmas.

Meh. :?

Its always sad loosing a pet, and making that decision!! But if its for the animals quailty of life, then you have to make the right decison babe. I have been there 3 times, and its never nice. I feel for you x

as for the weekend, well, there aint much happening in the selkent manor, but i wil be pootling out to the south coast on Sunday

Cheers Viney. :)

Well, we're in to see the vet tomorrow evening (5:50) and we'll see what she has to say... I'm dreading it.

Poons In Serious Post Shocker!
If your cat is genuinely ill, then it's for the best. I had a 9st Bull Mastiff and he had a cancerous something or other. Anyway, it wasn't until the vet injected him that last time and he was laying there that I realised how in pain he'd been. He was so peaceful and i saw the dog I hadn't seen for 6 months but never realised. Driving over there was one of the hardest things I've had to do, not least trying to hold him still!! but once I got out, the feeling of relief and the fact I knew (KNEW) I'd done the right thing.

All the best.

Well, she's had a stay of execution. The vet has seen worse. :) It's SUCH a relief.

Now I can't go away for the weekend though. :?

As per

Our Jason has a track day at Silverstone on B/H Monday if anybody fancies a ride in that direction
