That is clever!
On the lead up to the main race at Brno today, the excellent Spanish coverage did a piece with one of Toni Elias's mechanics from the Fortuna Yamaha team.
The section was a little looksy at the controls and clocks or digi read out for his bike. The most trick thing it had was a button that can see you change fuel maps when on the move! It has 4 maps loaded for different conditions. I thought very neat! Maybe they should show Toni how to turn off the pit lane speed restrictor when he is out on the track! |
Did you know that the NSR250 MC28 had a swipecard ignition system. It came with two cards, one for the dry and one for wet days.
I really wanted one before the SV came along. Maybe one day when I have cash to burn..... Great race again. What happened to Sete? Steve Parrish thought it was out of fuel, how embarrasing for the big H. |
Haffis I did not know that about the Aprilia, again very trick!
It did give every indication that Sete did indeed run out of gas.Although such are the politics......far better to claim a fuel problem rather than a mechanical/Honda problem. In this way some poor mechanic gets his ass kicked rather than Honda's reputation getting hammered? :? |
