Progressive Fork Springs better for stoppies ?

Since upgraded to braided lines i very much enjoy doing stoppies.

As a matter of fact it's easier than doing wheelies  .

Just doing them on a private car park :D

Does anyone know what springs would be better ?

Progressive ones or the 10% stiffer Ohlins ?

I would have thought the standard one would be pecfect. :?
Money you save could then be used on tyres or brake pads instead.

Seriously standards springs are perfect. Change to 15 weight or maybe reduce the air gap a git and you can stoppie away ....

Cheers

hm...

well i already have ohlins ready to put in.

I just thought the progressive ones would be better for stoppies... Or won't it make a difference ?

The original springs are better than stiffer springs for doing stoppies. This is because the springs compress quicker allowing the front wheel and tyre to find maximum traction quicker.

This is also another reason why people tend to have front end slides a lot quicker too.
