Chain lube
 
Can anyone recommend a good chain lube....will be cleaning the chain and need a decent lube i can spray on and that wont throw muck everywhere when i ride

I would go for a scotty, personally. There are dozens of reasons all listed out several times around the forum.

I use the Motul stuff as well as having a scotoiler fitted.

Profi Dry Lube, almost no flick off.

I agree PJ1 is possibly the best I've used, seems to do the job. But...it does create rather a lot of black tar stuff that can get everywhere. Doesn't go down well when it's found on the living room carpet... :oops:

I've used Shell Chain wax too, that was ok but IMO chain waxes and dry lubes look a bit toilet when they're on the chain. I'm not that keen on my chain sticking out like a sore thumb.

and also castrol chain wax is clingy stuff (just give it a while to dry before blasting off) and it does have a white colour when on the chain unlike profi which is clear :lol:
