Petrol Prices

Was riding home last night when my petrol light stopped flashing and stayed on! But 2 mins later there was a beautiful petrol station, well it was till I saw the price 97.3 per ltr. Does anyone know of good place to fill up?

The one you passed, Hurry up and go back before the price rises to £1.50

The good ol US of A have just bought 20 supertanker loads of oil from Rotterdam to help them keep mobile in Louisiana

wow thats bad, i remember when it was 86, 80 and the good old 76

Optimax was 99.9p a litre when I filled up this morning in Bristol.

I only use it once every few tanks just for the cleaning effect but I have to run my car on 98RON fuel so a full tank is quite expensive now.

Its still a lot cheaper than beer though and a lot more fun with less adverse side effects.

The price of fuel is because of taxation and not because of natural disasters..it is now £1 per litre...and rising...now I'm no economy type person but that isn't good. Perhaps our benovelant leaders could cut fuel taxes for the working man to see them through this rocky period. It is a socialist party after all...I never work so I don't include myself in this.

Went up here to 94.9p/litre last night... Outragious

They will not be cutting fuel tax, that I can guarantee.

It's not _that_ bad anyway, especially for bikes:

17 litres at 95 = £16.15
17 litres at 79.9 = £13.58

Big deal! It's about the price of a pint of beer. Factor in inflation as well and the real world gains are probably about £1.50 - £2 a tank.
