I've come over all naked!!!!

Yep today I bought a K5 Sliver Tuono and i'am as happy as a pig in s........
I was going to buy one before till my insurance company messed me around  now thats all sorted I went down to stoke-on-trent today and after another test ride which I did not really need I picked one up for 6k from DK Motorcycles, £899 pounds cheaper then in london. Now I know there is a new one coming out at the NEC but that will be at silly prices again and they have already stopped shipping the old one here
So a week on tuesday I will be getting my new baby and all I need to do now is find a nice exhaust and a screen oh it's a hard life

P.s DK has a nice big warehouse full of bikes I was like a kid in a sweet shop

I hope you get on with it mate. After riding Damien's in France last week I'm convinced that they are a supermoto on steroids. I couldn't get on with it at all, but Damien waas throwing it around the Alps like nobody's business.

It is one hell of a brute, it's tall and has instant power off of the gas, treat it with respect or it will show you who's boss.....

If I'am honest with myself I could not go back to a sportsbike unless i found a big bike  the pressure on my wrists was getting too much after a 100miles or so. The blade was a great bike and I enjoyed the test ride, I even had a go on a zx6r but found the same problem, plus I'am riding 2 up alot more now and that made matters alot worse with my wrists  the Z1000 was a nice bike too but just a little small for me.
I know I have made the wright choice  it does not have the same sex appeal as the Black GSXR1000 limited edition I came close to buying last saturday.....but I like her :D

A bit like every v-twin then....

By the way, congrats Steve....

Congratulations Steve & welcome to the dark side.

The Tuono is kind of a sledge hammer of a bike, not for everyone but once you have "mastered" her is jolly good fun to ride / throw around. Almost as much fun as my old SV650

Ride safe.

p.s. Grey is offically the slowest colour
