Running in blues
I'm trying to run in my SV and i've been overtaken by a ford Galaxy, a jap 4*4 and burnt off by a jap 4*4...an awful state of affairs...5000rpm is dullsville...I need a sign saying that i'm not slow just runing in...I would hate to think that some idiot is bragging about burning off me black jet... :(
Now the seat of the SV is not my best friend...where can I exchange it...I gonna ask if the bars can be altered at first service...comfort is not to my liking. There looked like a serious motorcycle crash on the A49 near whitchurch...near little chef...any clues... |

Yes I think it was a cbr with a V-strom.
I didn't hang about to see if there were other bikes |

but once you get to the 800-1000 miles... what a differance... p.s. hope it wasn't your M8 Clive. [-o< |
I never saw a Fazer...about 1430h...today...the bikes looked like bikes so the accident happened on a roundabout...so slow speed...hopefully slow speed injuries...
The comfort thing is taking away any enjoyment of the bike...it is just a pain...i'll persevere with it but I will think about a new seat and a fiddle with the bars..if it doesn't improve... |
Hello from a newbie to the site,
When I ran mine in I had a lot of pain in my limbs and was stopping every twenty miles with cramp after the first fifty. then after a couple of days it stops and then you think the riding position is spot on. Parky..... |

Couldn't believe it when I bought the KTM, I was reading the running instructions, to summarise they read... "When in 6th gear, do not exceed 105MPH..." |
