What are the rules on 'totting up' points ?
I ask because I got flashed by a speed camera when coming back home the other day -
it was 10 mins to 1 in the morning & I was a bit tired & 'forgot' about the damn camera down the road :hackedoff: . I passed my car test sometime back in the 1980's  , but only took my DAS in May 2004. I already have 3 points (Oct 2003 - speeding on a scooter  ) and now look like I'm about to get another 3  I seem to remember that if you clock up 6 points within 2 years of passing your test, you have to retake it - anyone know if that is correct :?: |
it is corect for a new rider under 21 like me.. but im not sure about you

You have had you licence since the 80's all you did was add a catagory to is when you did your DAS for the bike. As far as I know I shouldn't affect you.

the 6 point rule is only for "new" licences - what if you already had 3 (or even 6) points on your licence when you got your DAS ??
You should be fine, and old men like you should slow down a bit  . |
