how ya all doing i ve just passed my test on the 27 th july:):):):):)(ok its a while back now:) first time pass on both counts:):) i have naked blue sv k1. i have put a renagade slip on oval on it as i just could nt quite get used to the queit exhaust(now it sounds the ********)
but there is a catch, i have a bloody broken foot!!!! due to someone starting there car up in gear while i was moveing my bike ready to set off to the open road(********!) i wont be out of plaster until the 17th oct but cant wait to get back on my sv big time
i know of the merry chest and oak dene cafe near me on wed nights but there always harrasssed by the cops big time so looking out to venture to new ones i also here some people are meeting up on other nites at the oak dene and merry chest coz of the cops(f***ing good idea)
oh and i am looking for a good set of rideing boots(as i was just gonna go and get some b4 i done my foot)i have looked around but not much choice as i dont wont raceing boots rather more like a doc martin type boot if you know what i mean. so if anyone knows of a good shop let me know.
anyways as u can see i have alot of spare time to ramble on as i am off work ffs . oh well i look forward to some replys

P.P.S DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER THE THE FROG AND BUCKET PUB A PROPER BIKERS PUB IT GOT CLOSED DOWN BUT USED IT A LIVE BAND EVERY NIGHT are there still anybikers pubs around like that?

theres always the respectable social meet aka the Selkent meet at Riverhead every fortnight unless a few of us otherwise find our life intervenes... as happened this week...

and yes there are still proper biker pubs in Kent. I drink in one though the fact it hosts a chapter of a back patch club seems to put people off when I mention it to them :wink: :lol: :lol:

i will get some pics of my bike when i can drive my car about as trhe bike is over my mates house in bromley until my foot is better

Welcome to the site.

I live in Istead Rise very close to Swanscombe, been commuting to work for nearly 2 years but never managed a rideout or the Selkent meet. I'm temporily unable to ride at the moment, but will definately be around for a ride shortly (1-2 weeks).

I used to go to the Frog & Bucket pub years ago on a Sunday evening, good times.
