Try a search for 'XPEL' or 'Clear Shield' Ther are some bike specific firms out there too, but I can't remember 'em :?

Good luck!

Magnetic sheet

I tried a suzuki tank bra which are ok but hide the shiny tank a bit much for my taste. Great protection though.

I have just bought some satin black magnetic sheet (mag-knight) off ebay cheapish. You can cut some kidney shaped pads and they stick to the sides of the tank where your legs go. Just cut and fitted today and they look good. Also easy to remove when you want to wax the tank.

I'll try and get a picture of the bike with them on if you want. I like them anyway. The SV seems prone to showing scratches on the tank sides, esp if its a black bike like mine.

Just do a search for magnetic sheet.

Dirt Bike clear number plate protectant.

Hello, My first post, UM Dirt Bike Clear number plate protectors is what you need to protect the tank, they are like a millimeter thick and come off clean when you remove it but dont wash off, I was going to use thin clear sign vinyl (IS THAT HOW YOU SPELL IT??)any way the guy said it would stick to my paint over time. So then i got a dent on my tank and covered it with a bra. The Number plate stuff is what I was going to use. Do you know how to post pictures on this sight.

Oh and use some water and a couple drops of soap to wet the number plate and tank to fit it just right..

I picked up a set of tankslappers a while back, not fitted them as I've not got the paint job finished yet. Seem good though.
