Re-Colouring Leathers
Is it possible?
My blue ones don't match my red bike! I'm a tart! |
Spraypaint?
Crepe paper? Coloured Duct tape? It's an opportunity for an ART ATTACK! :D Erm, sorry I couldn't make a serious suggestion. Presumably they can dye leather at some stage (don't see many blue cows/kangaroos!), but I imagine the leather has been sealed in some way and dying should take place before this is done (like painting before lacquering)? EDIT: That'll learn you to get a Honda   |

Scoobs...I am so with you on this schweetie! Just got to co-ordinate or it just wont do! Hope all the other accesories...gloves,boots etc. are going to contribute some value to the ensemble?

I looked into this a while back, but the response was basically "Don't bother". Mine looked rubbish before I did some tarmac surfing in them, now they're rubbish but with big bald patches...

Save all this hastle by just buying black leathers in the first place instead of going for the poser look!!
And if you wanted to dye your leathers, you might be best trying to dye them black too rather than a different colour. But you're probably more likely to just achieve a darker shade of blue than black. Or a cheaper option would be to buy a fleece to wear over your leathers!!!! |
