HELP! My Bike Just Died On Me
Hi
I was putting the tool kit back under the seat of the bike today after putting the chain guard back on and when i went to start the bike up the head up display came on but the bike was just ticking over under the seat. Within the space of a few moments the head up display has gone off completely and the bike wont even tick over. Can anyone think what the problem might be? |
Bummer :(
I'm no expert but that sounds like a dead/flat battery. I'd check that first and then post here again if that dont help. Others with better electrical knowledge will be able to offer better advice than I. |
I would say you've got a dirty/corroded/loose battery terminal connection.
If you moved it this may have broken the circuit. Loosen the terminals (care not to short live onto frame!) clean, cover in Vaseline and re tighten. Should sort it Good luck |
Im getting the mechanic to come out and take a look at it instead. I want a new chain and sprocket put on anyway so might as well get ti all doen at once.
Cheers |
