Sunday brekkie run

Anyone up for a brekkie run tomorrow? I need to be somewhere at 15h00 so it will have to be an early ride(say 10h00)

Yeah, possibly - just been out and feeling a bit rusty. Have to meet someone about midday though.
Where were you thinking?

Jdubya 12-11-05 04:26 PM

Not too sure...I was thinking of maybe meeting somewhere central (say the barge) and then going out somewhere in any direction for a bacon buttie and a cuppa. Midday is a bit too late for me though because I need to be back on this side of the river for 15h00 :?

Sounds good!

10.00 meet?

Well, won't be drinking too much tonight then! Cricket club dinner and dance

Wonder whether Mac will be there? And any bets on PING?

10h00 at the barge sounds good. Then perhaps on to burnham or south-end or somewhere else

I got home from getting my new tyres put on, then started prepping the bike for a trip down to W Sussex... top up engine oil, put him up on the paddock stand and lube the chain then find to my dismay that my rear wheel isn't aligned properly. :?

It snags somewhere when I set the wheel spinning manually.
*sighs*
:?

So, in short, even if I WANTED to get up at stoopid o'clock on a sunday to go for a ride, I can't go 'til it's sorted. :P

That's a complete ar*e Ping!! I hope your wheel is easy to remedy :)

But then as I awoke this morning to find the whole of Essex under a blanket of dense fog - might not be the best day for a ride....
....Esp as I have never ridden in these conditions

JD what you think?

Ooh, bright and sunny now but I hope you guys have your jumpers on!

Irony is me waking up bright and breezy at quarter to nine this morning...

Jdubya 13-11-05 02:40 PM

Thamks guys! I had a brilliant, albeit rather chilly! The view from the caf was nothing short of spectacular for a cold november morning :) :)
Sorry I lost you three at the end there  My immobiliser decided to kick in as we left the village   BUt I did manage to find my way through Chelmsford and had a bit of fun watching some blokes wheeling their gsx1400's off the lights out of Rawreth and all the way along the A130 up to the A13.
Karen, did you see the smashed up 600-blade on the a13 just befor the roadwaorks :?:

Anyway, Thanks again guys!

Brilliant day, thanks to all. Some interesting roads, and, yes, a cafe with a view.
