Radiator cover

Is it possible to get a radiator cover for the sv650 s the curvy earlier model?. I can only seem to find ones for the later models.

i think you can because when i got mine the company (beowulf) got 2 types when i said sv650 and then he asked what year.

It's never been a shelf item. The curvey naked model got a rad cover, but the semi faired version not. Or should I say I've never seen one that wasn't custom made or a one off.

So, would this not fit?

It seems to say that it is ok for the SV650 (and the 650s?) I am not sure how that works, as I was under the impression that they were differant rads. It looks to me like it would fit the SV650 rad. Anyway, shoot him off a mail maybe, if you are interested.

Philip.

The add says "should fit" which usually means they don't know but they redeem themselves by stating they are for naked models only. So Burner was right.

Just before the server crashed I asked about the different sizes of the curvy naked/faired rad's.

Didn't get the chance to check it out and the info was lost, but since then I realised they are not a direct swap.

You could butcher it to fit a faired radiator, just attack it with the hacksaw. Then use zip-ties through the fins, no-one's gonna see them.
