Exhaust systems

Hello,

Not been on here in a while (well... ages in fact). Anyways, I've got myself a SV... and it's great fun.

I was wondering if anyone on here had an opinion as to what a good exhaust system would be for the SV? I'm after a phat sound (obviously), and maybe a bit more power... the sound's the most important though :)

Spoke with a guy at braintree heine gericke, and he was on about a new Micron system... but, there's so many brands out there I thought I'd try to check them out.

I've got a micron system on mine. Only problem is I'd have to either swap it for my other 'mot pass' exhaust or find a garage that is noise tollerant.

Sounds LUSH though... :D

So, obviously you'll probably want to go for a system with a removable baffle so if you get told off you can quickly comply... ;)

Have you put a post in biking talk & issues? You'll probably get more opinions more quickly in there. :)

I've got a Quill Titanium 3 Oval on mine - sounds great, apparantly doesn't need the engine re-mapping, and best of all is road-legal!!! :D

I guess you could also look at the exhaust thread....

Easy Ping,
2 posts on the same thread in less than one hour? You'll have us all believing that you do exist.......;-)

The exhaust bit for those who don't go any further down than us (and believe me, you have to stoop low to reach us), is in the reviews

eggs, granny, old.....

dont get a micron full system it restricts your bike power buy a large amount the can and a link should be ok though they also sound quite good. an m4 can and pipe for power but not so good for sound

I have witnesses too... and both Mac and I were present on one occasion so that blows your theory RIGHT out of the water.
