Thats it no more till its a least +10degrees

Putting the trumpet into "Hibernation" and not bringing it out unless it is over 10degrees I am going to be a wimp and use the cage this winter, its probably an age thing but having my n*ts frozen off isn't fun any more.
Much more comfortable in the car with the aircon set at 22.5 warm, dry no frozen fingers and a wheel on each corner

That is unless there is a realy nice Sunday morning and the withdrawal symptoms get the better of me

Well, having not been out on mine for a month I did venture out today, but the sleet left me feeling a little uneasy so I didn't leave a 40mph zone and was back home within 45 minutes.

Still felt good though.

You on line at home now geezer?????

Conrad Poons 26-11-05 05:05 PM

Yup. All back and fixed. My IT employed mate completely rebuilt the pc and set my wireless network up for me all for the price of a "couple" of beers.

Guess I'll have to find a different excuse for not turning up from now on..!!!

I may be out this winter...not too concerned with the cold....I just dont like the wet

Roads are very greasy round here at the moment and I've been "drifting" through the roundabouts every morning over the last few days....GOOD FUN!

Dicky Ticker 27-11-05 01:30 PM

As per

" Just drifting " Becareful it doesn't turn into "Just sliding" which leads to Crash Bang Wallop and a very upset JW
The last time I was out the roads were very slippy with the salt/molasses
mixture they are using now so virtue being the better part of valour I decided that one prang was enough for this year
I think I have done enough winter riding in my lifetime to come to the conclusion that your much safer on 4 wheels
Also no fighting corrossion and keeping the bike in one piece for the better weather when I can enjoy the riding instead of riding on a knife edge all the time
