You must be a fast runner to peg it round that lake taking snaps befroe the sun sets lol. Nice pictures, I like the 2nd and 3rd oens joint best :)

the reason i posted these pictures was to demonstrate that you do not need 1,000's of pounds worth of kit to get great shots.
all the images above were taken with a canon ixus 40 on automatic settings. (sd300 model in the usa) and were taken by a friend of mine who is just starting out with digital photography. (so it was not me who ran round the lake) :lol: the camera is a 4 megapixel tiny pocketable jobbie and costs relatively little compared to SLR's , prosumers, etc. its about 165 quid in the uk here |

No 1 is to symetrical.
No 2 is too fussy. No 3 is somehow bland, colurs are great though. Nos 4, 5 & 6 are excellent, the tree silhouettes give a frame for the sunset beautifully. |
