Insurance Help!
Hello, my insurance is up for renewal and I had just ordered a new scorpion high-level exhaust from seastar as I love the sound they make.
Called the insurance company today (Bennetts) and told them when I renew that the bike will have the new can fitted, road legal scorpion, suddenly the policy they were offering can't insure me and the one they gave me has a £500 excess! for TPFT cover. Can anyone suggest a can-friendly insurer that will not give me stupid excesses for having a scorpion can on the back, just done my first year without a claim so got 1yrs no claim bonus. Cheers |
I changed from Bennetts to e bike and my renewal went from 245 to 156 quid for a better level of cover and a 150 quid excess so give em a try. You can add or detract mods online and it shows how it would affect your policy

Try eBike, they were the cheapest quote for me by a country mile :!:

YEP EBIKE SEEM TO BE THE DOGS DANGLIES AT THE MO.

Motorcycle direct didn't seem too bothered so long as its road legal/stamped

I don't see why insurers have an issue with cans on bikes, cos when you get your insurance certificate through there's always a disclaimer that says bits you put on aren't covered by the insurance anyway. It's a joke.
Other than the above suggestions, you could try Choice Quote, they aren't bad. |
