Brake Dust Seals

Think thats what they are called anyway ???

Had to give the brakes an overhaul cuz they were sticking after the Winter riding.

Dust Seals were pushing out as I tried to push the pistons out to give em a clean so they had to be replaced. £25 just for the two front calipers...wowzers !! Seems pretty expensive for rubber washers.

Front pins were also a bitch to get out......the moral of this story; keep on top of yer brake maintenance and save yourself some hula and time !

Get some stainless steel pins and use copper grease when putting them in.

I have done the same to mine and had not touched them for six months. The pins came out no problem at all.

Clean the groove behind the seals and the dust seals before putting back together, it will need scraping out with a pick or your new seals will soon be poking out again
