Just wondering as to why you got it in the first place seeing as it has done hardly any milage. With all those extras i would maybe pay about 3800 but it is hard to put a value on all those extras

i was without a bike for a year and missed it so i brought it but hav'nt had time to use it

Sell the extras for easy money first, to me!!

Well seat and screen maybe, want first refusal!!

Hard to say how much, black is desirable!! and discontinued!!

I too would sell the extra's seperately.

I personally would pay less for the bike with those extra's on it than I would for a totally standard model. Same applies if I was buying a car.

The seat cowl is good but not expensive enough to buy new to add any value, I guess people may pay more for having the bike with an alarm (I'd rather have no alarm and spend the money on good physical security though) and I guess the crash bungs might appeal to a nervous newbie but the other stuff is about personal taste and/or bumps up the insurance - and insurance cost is for many people why they would be looking at an SV instead of a GSXR.

I think you have to remember that people can get an unmolested brand new bike with zero miles and 2 years of warranty for £3700 if they shop around so this will hit your resale value hard. I'd go on what standard models are being advertised for on autotrader.

Shocked that you want to sell it so soon for another car. I bought my K5 because like you I had been without a bike for a while and missed it but I have come out of the experience wanting to sell the car not the bike! If I wasn't locked into a credit agreement I'd ditch the 182 and get a cheapy run-around!

P.S. you told me on the Cliosport site that it didn't feel any quicker than your old curvy model but you haven't done enough miles yet to use maximum revs on it!!!!!!!!!!!

toypop the bike has been run in so i can use all the revs.
i had a test drive in the new focus st on sunday and loved it probably more than the 182 but i would want the st2 which is 18.5k and the only way i could finance it would be to sell the bike as well, and i want a bigger car with a better sized boot

That's a really sweet looking bike mate. I don't agree about the alarm and bungs. Many riders would be looking for that kinda thing anyway - especially if both keys and fobs, instructions etc are all there. Most would add physical security on top, not instead of.

Good luck. Being black, you should get a pretty penny - very rare now.

P.S. Check your PMs

i think people might pay more for crash bungs, i would consider them essentail equipment

i brought mine with crash bungs, rece can, db screen and things like that make it a bike you really want, if it standard it may not stand out to someone, when i was looking and found one i brought i wanted this one and this one only as had all the things a wanted on it and traveled like 150miles each way to get it, you may not get that kind of eagerness if complety standard, in summer you have a better chance i think

BIKES are better then cars!! dont get rid of your bike for a car :(
