SV650S Powerbronze Bellypan and Undertray questions

Hi I am new on here (and to SV650s!) and only just found this section, which may (or may not) be a more relevant place to ask the questions I asked on the photos section.

Since then I have also dreamt up some more questions!! :)

Firstly I read somewhere in this section that some undertrays require you to hack up the original?! I was thinking of a Powerbronze undertray and was hoping that I could fully unbolt the original item and replace with this aftermarket one, so If at some point I wanted to revert back that I could. Does anyone know if the Powerbronze tray is a full replacement item??

Finally it seems rude that powerbronze want you to pay £60odd to have colour matched items!!! I have sprayed many items in my time with aerosols and am confident in the results I can get. Do Suzuki do spray tins so I can get the correct colour? Or is there a car that shares the same colour (or a very close approximation) that I could get a tin from Halfords, MotorWorld or whatever.

That’s all for now, :)

Thanks in advance.

Powerbronze is not a direct replacement, you need to chop the mudguard away unfortunately. If you want a full replacement, you'll have to go for the Suzuki replacement (otherwise known as the TCP Holland one).

powerbronze bellypans are not really value for money, i'm not happy with mine. :(
