No Claims Bonus Query
 

Hi all (just realised i posted this in the wrong place first time around :oops: )

My insurance is due mid January and I've been with Motorcycle Direct for the past 2 years but am looking at going elsewhere if I get a better offer/deal from another insurance company,

Just got the one query that am unsure about
'How do you prove to Insurance companies how much NCB you have' do the insurance companies give you a certificate or some such paper work or what?

I know it's a dumb question but would like to find out what the score is before i started scouting around

It should have your no claims discount on your renewal statement

I in the past, have always just given the new company, the old compannies details and they sort it out. I think that once i had to supply proof.

I was thinking the same Viney , just as i've only 2yrs NCB was looking at making sure i could back it up

you can request a letter of "proof of no claims bonus" if you have lost your renewal thing

I've either had to request proof from my previous insurer or I've passed on the info from my previous insurer onto the new company.
You will likely find out how your new insurer wants the info as you take out a new policy with them.
