HT leads
When changing the HT leads on the SV, do I need to change the whole thing (coil, lead, cap) or can I get it all seperate?
Just think it might be more expensive getting the whole shhbang :? |
The leads and the coil are all one unit. I seem to remember it was about £50 each (or something stupid like that). I had a 99 SVS and I though the leads were degrading. When I found out how much it was going to cost me, I just cleaned everything up and got all the crud off the leads and plugs. Make sure that the lead caps are pushed onto the plugs firmly and in the correct orientation. It worked for me.
You can get splice kits and lead cable so you can splice onto the original coil. I've not used them so can't vouch for them. |
Cheers scoobs
