I was over there about 4 years ago and thats really whats it like, no one pays any attention to anything. They do have traffic light but they are basicly wasting electricity.

If you think thats bad you should see the vietnamise overtaking in the country, the tactic is pull out onto the wrong side and flash your light at the oncominng trafic to signal your coming through. The unamusing part of this is a truly horrific accident rate.

Absolutley mental to say the least.
My sister was there in August on her way to Australia, she sent me a postcard of a junction like that.
One bike had a whole family on it!

Funny that- it says "PASS" on the high beam button doesn't it? Must be quite common in other places too.
