Whiney whingey whinge - that ol' puncture...
I got my puncture repaired (finally) and was so pleased with how the bike felt on the ride home from the garage.. It was like I'd not stopped riding for a few weeks. LOL :)
So, it's my first day back at work today and I start getting Roger ready 'cuz it seems like a good day for a ride into work... I put his bits and pieces back on, test start him up (I make sure he'll start before I bump him own off my front garden) and let him run for a bit to warm up... Then as a last minute thought I check the tyre pressures... The rear with the repaired puncture is down to 28psi... Start to pump it up, it gets to 33 so I stop for a sec to watch it..... and have the pleasure of watching the dial slip back down to 28psi.. I do this a few times just to be sure... AAARRRRGH!! LOL  |
 give that roger a good spanking & take him back to the repair shop
|
its probably the valve that is faulty
|
what a right royal pain in the bum.
Hope you get it sorted :D |
Poor Ping, that's just bad luck. Sounds like the valve but are you sure it wasn't the pump's valve or hose with a leak?
|
Where'd you get the puncture done ??
I can highly recommend the guys here for puncture repairs (and tyres) just past brentwood on the a12 http://www.motorcycletyresuk.com/index2.htm |
