DIDITAL CAMERA TANK MOUNT 6
DIDITAL CAMERA TANK MOUNT
Got one of these today http://www.jessops.com/ for my digital camera . Cost me a whopping £6.49 I was thinking of taking it to bits and getting an adapter plate made to fit to the forward three fixing points on the fuel tank cap holder. All I need do is fashion some kind of adaptor between the two and I can then take pictures on the move http://www.jessops.com/images/products/JESDPE.jpg |
Got one of those from Jessops too...let me know what you make up

What I intend to use is three of the threaded dowels that I use for the 99 to 02 SV650s mirror spacer kits [see below] 3 longer allen bolts a nicely pre-shaped plate to sit on top forward of the tank cap with a single hole drilled to mount to the point where the top of the tripod legs fit. All you have to do is remove one screw and fit it to the plate.

i'm not sure if this applies to these mounts but i have read on other forums that camera mounted on extended arms (windmirrors, foorpegs etc) have been shakern to bits from the inside
has anyone ever had a problem with this? The other thing that worries me about having a camera on your bike is the poterntial for the police to look into your antics if you are stopped, does anyone know of a camera that can have its video deleted quickley. |
Old Bill wouldn't be too bothered about the camera and mount as their attention would be more drawn to the 6 foot sound boom harnessed to the rider's shoulders!

Imagine, no more "no witness" problems when you get smidsy'd and the person who did it then refuses to accept liability. |

now if your daft enough to be clocked at 120 mph on a twisty road , then yeah maybe they have a reason to take evidence. but i reckon the legal eagles on here will be along in a min or 2 |
I would buy one for £30 no problem and thats even my camcorder in the pic :)
