In a post in another part of this forum someone described themselves as a 3%er?
my question is this, what is a 3%er?

I hope I’m not being thick, rude or abusive but I don’t know so I’m asking.

I think its a motorcycle group of folks who are recovering addicts (drink, drugs, not so sure about sex!) and it refers to the 3% who actually make it the distance. We met some at a motorway services once..Jelster will remember and elaborate.

I actually think that running a club like that is a wonderful idea; it gives people something to focus on. As long as you stay in that 3% you can keep the jacket.....

Whoever thought of it needs a medal.
