I spoke to my brother tonight
...for only the 2nd time in 3 and a half, nearly 4 years.
I couldn't believe it, it was like nothing ever happened. I posted on this a while back and the weight of the org's opinion was to patch it up before it was too late. Well now I have. I ate some humble pie and so did he. And I'm glad that things are patched up. Wish we'd never fallen out, all to do with £££, it's true it's the root of all evil. Just wanted to share. Ed |
Nice one. I didn't speak to my brother for a number of years and I'm glad to say we now speak and there's no resentment - hope it's now sorted for you.

nice One :D
I haven't spoken to my sister for 6 years but we stand less than 10 foot apart at football but are like strangers, again all over ££'s chris |
i dint speak with my brother for 5 years and it was only the death of my mother that got us talking again! the reason i fell out was because of his wife ( now ex :D ) not money. we get along brilliantly now, although if ever i bumped into his ex..................

Families hey! :? Such silliness can go on. Glad this makes you feel better Ed.

i am very lucky i guess that i have never had a serious falling out with anybody in my family, and as for y brothers... althought i dont see them very often i dont think i could bare not being able to see them...
i know my dad left it too late with his borther as his brother was tagically killed many years ago after school, and my dad never got to say sorry... i have learned from him that it is never worth while leaving it too late.. Congrats on sorting it all, must be a real weight off your shoulders.. Alex |
Good for you. :D
My sisters stopped speaking to each other for years & years, all over the fact that one of them could never get up in the mornings & one morning the other one left for work without her, it went on until the oldest one plucked up the courage to ask her sister if she would be her bridesmaid. |
I haven't spoken to my little brother for 10 years, cos he's a Sh*t!
He is constantly at Her Majesty's Pleasure for some henious crime commited. Last I saw him is when I kicked down his front door and smacked ten bales of excrement out of him. Why all the aggro over my brother you ask, well there's a lot of baggage. The summary being he used my details when getting nicked so I kept getting Police summons, I was unable to join the Police. He attempted to break in the my Grandparents home. My mother almost had a breakdown and almost lost her marriage. Now 10 ten years on, I get my first ever Birthday card from HMP Somewhere, saying he's sorry. What to do!!!! He's kicked the **** out of the word Sorry too many times before. |
Nice one Ed :D
