I havent a clue either

but the ******* that stole the wallet from my gym locker sure as hell does

because 20 minutes after I got into the gym, he was using my DEBIT CARD (I dont even have a credit card) to try and buy something.

And thats not including the cash that was in the wallet

the drivers licence (photo & paper)

the national insurance card

the bank internet ID

and the sodding iPod

So, a great end to the week

The sooner all places go Chip & PIN the better!

Can your gym do anything off CCTV etc? surely the guy has to be a member to get anywhere near the lockers?

Bad luck mate. Happening all the more often. Some b'stard got my card details. I think from a restaurant in Milton Keynes and two hours later had tried to buy £5K worth of stuff from ebuyer. Luckily they got turned down.

Chip N Pin my R's

Barstewards can see you type your number in at Tesco's as they are 12" behind you...

Crap idea invented by the banks so that they can say 'YOUR FAULT' if someone knows your number and they are then not held responsible

And before you ask, no, I have not been a victim of theft and someone stealing my PIN...

Couldn't agree more TBH, you should have to PIN & sign IMHO

What can you get for that much in Romford on a Friday night??

A good time ;)

Sorry to hear that mate...

Reminds me of my brother.. he went to a works do, and got plastered, and fell asleep in a bush outside the hotel... he woke up next day, did the quick check if his wallet was still there etc... went back to work

Phone call later in the day, someones tried spending a large amount of money on your card.. and done a runner when confronted...

he pulls out his wallet.. all the cards were gone, and all his cash...

Stretchie it does help if you cover your PIN with your hand!

A couple of the banks used to offer switch / credit cards with your passport photo printed on the back, can't see why this wasn't introduced as standard.
