Anyone had this done by a dealer? Any idea of cost? Im contemplating whether to do it myself or get a dealer/garage to do it. Will get a few quotes tomorrow but just wondered what kind of price they usually are

If i was doing it myself
Oil & Filter
Clean Air filter (K&N)
Spark plugs
Coolant replacement
Brake fluid??
Make sure all pivots are well oiled etc

You seem to have covered everything in your list but i doubt a garage would do things like change coolant or brake fluid unless you specifically asked for it to be done, and they'd charge you extra. Not had mine a year yet so can't help with prices but i paid £135 for the 7500 mile service (new spark plugs, oil and filter change, balance fuel injectors, clean air filter, bit of grease here and there). If you're confident i'd do it yourself; the only way to be sure it's been done properly.

It does help when selling/part exchanging to have the service book all stamped up, saying that though when my warranty runs out it will be a case of diy.

Same here, i'll get it serviced at a dealer untill the warranties up, just in case the engine goes, and then i'll be doing as much as i can myself.

I got my 7500 mile service done and their checklist stated they had also tightened the head bearing
