SV650S petrol cap question?

Quick question for ya lads, ive a 2000 sv650s k1 and i need a new petrol cap, does the cap off a k3 fit? I know it's obviously a differnt model but i was just wondering if it would fit?

nope it wont as far as i remember. The number of studs are different.

In a word no the holes wont line up I have a new K1/2 replica one from M&P if you want one.
