Getting your leg over!(Fnaar!)
Just wondered...We often read of peeps being a little challenged in the inside leg measurement department and seat height of bikes being a concern. If you fall in to the mentioned category are there any issues with respect to getting your leg over also?(gufaw!) Of course I mean over the seat,as often with raised passenger seat etc this could possibly prove a little tricky.
Do you have to lean side ways as if delivering a roundhouse karate kick in order to have leg elevated to a suitable height? Or what is the secret that you Diddies use? 8) |
Don't KTMs come with a ladder?
I'll ask Cloggsy. No better not  KTM-----I mentioned it once and I think I got away with it. |
Mount it like a horse
.....really, stand on footpeg then swing leg over. Yeeeehaaaawwwwwww cowboy (but not like in Brokeback mountain). |

Aaah..well pointed out Super.

I've got little stumpy legs but i usually find a good run up works well if the missus wont lay down for me (to get on the bike that is).
Seriously though i don't have that much bother & it's still got the original seat & dog bones, i've got about a 28 - 29 inside leg so yeah i'm an official short ass (thought i'd say it before scoobs got it in), it can get interesting if i'm pushing the bike backwards whilst sitting on it & one of my tippy toe's slips. |
practice practice practice

I have a hell of a time now... Didn't used to, but even with the back dropped down an inch on where it was it's still hard to get on when I'm tired, sometimes. And I keep on booting the side of the bike as well
