Valentine's day - share your ideas here

Got a good idea for the lurve day? Post it here and help those poor souls who have no imagination or time to think of anything themselves!

I'll start by getting the basics out of the way first:

Dinner (book now)
Flowers (as above)
Chocolates (do people still do that?)
Trip away somewhere
Gifts (bike bits for us lot, cosmetics, bags, shoes, haircuts, spa days etc for the ladies, pants, geeky stuff etc for the boys)
Romantic night in (dinner, dvd etc)
Naughty stuff for the bedroom (Ann Summers says thank you!)
Cinema/theatre/musical/concert/night out
One offs (eg, engagement ring ;) something you made yourself etc)

Hope that helps someone!

That all sounds a bit expensive.

How about just staying in and cuddling up on the sofa with the one you love?
Just sayingt he words, 'I love you' and meaning it for once.
Do the washing up
Put a wash in the washing machine
Work out how that thing called a hoover works and using it to some use around the house
Put the loo seat down
Finish those little jobs that you started
Not fart in bed
Hug her/him after the sex

See, it dont have all to be expensive

how about doing nothing? valentines day is right up there with fathers day and mothers day. completely unnecessary and a rip off.

There is nothing wrong with giving the less romantic people a nudge to make an effort for once!
