Cleaning Rusty Chain?????
 
My Friend has a CB125 and has never oiled the chain since he got it in August time despite myself and Iceman telling he needed to :roll:

Now he chain is rusty as hell and needs a thorough cleaning.

whats the best way to clean it up :!:

he has the attitude that if it breaks replace it, rathere than try to provent the break and save money :roll:

... unless it snaps, locks the rear wheel up & throws him under an oncoming car/lorry, or severs his leg below the knee (both of which has happened in the past :!:) :shock:

Chuck the bike up on a paddock stand, start bike, click into 1st gear and hold a wire brush on the plates

would have to get him to buy a paddock stand first mine is to big plus need bobbins, he really is hard work when it comes to maintaing his big, don't know why he bother's riding if he doesn't want to do everything that is involved

Get him to buy a scottoiler and keep it topped up. Ok so it's £60 odd but you can run it on old engine oil (I fully plan to) meaning that you get good value for money on buying your new engine oil at service time :P

You may also want to point out that someone on here had a chain snap, and wrap itself round the front sprocket till it ran out of room and stopped the gearbox output shaft at about 70. Wrecked the gearbox and pretty much wrote off the bike.... :shock:

Not a bad idea, will it fit a 05 reg cb125?

I will try to get him to sort it as i aint got a pillion seat now so can't give him a lift when srews his bike
