seen the french connection advert?
 

received many many complaints, in excess 50 the first time it was aired.

a synopsis:-

couple of lady's fighting karate style - violence? hmm guess so but its more amusing than anything else, and clearly not real! they then have a little kiss, i reckon about 1-2 seconds worth - erotic? if that sort of thing (girls kissing) turns you on then you aint gonna get your rocks off to this.

i thought it was a decent, run of the mill if anything, advert.

As usual, a lot of hoo ha about nuffin. Saw it last night, thought, what a great shot advert, didnt pay much notice to the content. Thats makes me sad i know, but hey, someone has to be!!

TBH i got bored watching it - it ran on for too long for me.

In the bit that i watched, i cant see what anyone would find offence about though.

Probably just old people with nothing better to do than write "in my day... yadda yadda yadda...."

The people who are probably whinging the most are likely to be the same as those who whinged over the Benneton ads (white guy holding a black newborn). They'll be saying 'what's it got to do with their product?'

Advertising sometimes can run a bit deeper than Cillit Bang! :wink:

I liked it. Well directed, and the stunts were well choreographed too, espescially the headbutt.

Saw it last night too....nowt wrong with a bit of foxy boxing in my eyes :wink:

The people who are probably whinging are French Connection themselves so they can pump up the hype around it and get everyone talking about it... a cynical thought i know - but I bet they are happy with the response.

Wasnt this a music video a little while back ( cant remember the song it went with - but can remember the video so i guess it works ) lol
