Is there anyone here that agrees with what the US government is doing here? How can the US government remain credible and truthful to its own people when they continue to flout international regulations and guidelines that they helped to set up. Wouldn't it be great if we could have a world vote on world issues?

I can understand why it was created in the first instance.

But like the UN has said - they should now try the people who they have in captivity, or release them. You can not hold people indefinately without reason for their detention.

Afterall, its ok the Americans saying that these people are international terrorists - if they KNOW that, why not use the evidence they have and charge them?

If they arent sure... release them.

That is a rather weighted question ;) I think you'll find it pretty hard to find anypne who agrees with beating, torturing and humiliating people who've not been found guilty or even tried for any crime at all.

I hear what you are saying - but whats it going to take to fix this problem. If the US can discredit the UN in the way they have in this article then we all have no hope in hell for a balanced future. How do you put pressure on these guys.... buy chinese :?:

Maybe they could just get the VP to take them all hunting...
