Yellow cameras to go
Watch out, watch out, there's a camera about - oh but you can no longer see it:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...045689,00.html Maybe time to have one of those GPS devices that detect the cameras: http://www.speedsafe.co.uk/Micro_Fuz...a_Detector.php . |

Expect an increase in accidents at camera sites as more people don't see the cameras till the last minute, then throw on the brakes when they spot the dragons teeth. Resulting in them being rear-ended, or worse, losing control and skidding into the oncoming lane or pavement. Nice.

ridiculous.. they don't have a clue.. not interested in safety whatsoever, just money making
accidents will skyrocket at camera sites now, and it seems they can put cameras wherever they like even if there's not neccesarily a problem with speeding.... |
Its only a matter of time until you have to have a gps tracking device on the car/bike that regulates your max speed.

Enjoy the freedom while we've still got it.

I followed an IAM guy on a Pan today and he never went above the limit. I had to though, just to try and keep up with him

passed one of the road speed indicator signs today doing 33 in a 30 area. sign automaticaly flashes speed for you and everyone else to see. this has a much more positive effect on making you reduce your speed. pity the relevant parties in government dont see how much safer this is. there again it doesn't bring any money in (oops-did i say that!). :) |
