Worthwhile bike maqazines?
Anyone have an opinions on what's the best bike magazine - I'm thinking about grabbing a cheap subscription to Two Wheels only - for the free MotoGP 3 xbox game.
Any decent subscription offers on at the moment, e.g. Another free helmet? |
I think TWO is one of the best of the normal bike magazines. I really enjoy Streetfighters as well as Motorcycle Sport and Leisure.

T.W.O. and PB for me.

I've currently got a sub for Ride but its not as good as it was... Quite often read Two and Bike along with the odd copy of mcn
I'd say Two is currently the better |
I'm increasing getting bored with all of them as I find them highly repetitive and sports bike focused. Motorcycle Sport and Leisure and Used Bike Guide are my favourites as they're a bit different; have just bought April Ride and have found virtually nothing I want to read in it...

When I was doing lessons and looking for a bike I found Ride and TWO good.
Since getting a bike and the gear I find most mags seem to repeat their articles and tests. I now look at what is featured and buy the one with the interesting articles. As for a subscription goodie, my advice is go for it, that way you are getting something that you fancy as well as a mag thrown in. |
If it's a freebie you're after, buy MCN and shred it for the hamster.

Would be TWO every time for me. I just wish it was more news/reviews and less Superbikes and GP.

MCS&L.
The only one worth getting your money out for. Which is dissapointing, 'cos we used to have good bike mags, but now they're all predictable rubbish. Look at some of the French ones to see good mags, and some of the Yank stuff too. |
