curvy carb restrictors..??

im not after derestricting the bike im just curious as to were the restrictors are

today i was doing general cleaning and maintenance on the bike

putting grease on wires and cables and i had to remove the air box wich just popped off, wich i wasnt expecting

and i could see right into the air box sides of the carbs and there was no visible washers or anything

so just wondering where they are.?

You prob have the Suzuki restrictors, which are replacement sliders (the black bit inside the carbs that moves). The diffrence is further up the slider, would only be able to see it if you took them out.

This is what they look like (top restricted, bottom original):

There are two ways to restrict, sliders or washers. But washers you should see them from the top i think, never seen a pic of them installed on an SV.

Well if they fitted the restrictors for you when you bought it then you should have received the original sliders back.

i didnt,

so im guessing its washers and they are on the engine side of the carbs..
