can anybody get me a chain split link fastnener........
 

hey, i have jus changed my chain and sprockets.
however, i struggled to fit the split link for the ride to the shop to get the pukker fitment.
i left the links in the cardboard box which was subsequently thrown away by a housemate.......

any chance anybody could sort me out with a fastener/link for a SSS chain?

kind of a big ask i suppose........
reckon i could buy them?

I did mine at the weekend and have a spare split link, as I purchased a proper chain fitter (at great bloody expense I may add)! But I therefore do have a split link...

I will willingly send this to you, but I will not be at home until Friday as I work away in sunny Wales all week! I could however if its desperate get the wife to find the link and post it to you!

and in case you're desperate, give http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/ a call and they should be able to sort you out.

Do be aware that different makes of chain tend to have slightly different diameter pins, so a split link that will fit on one chain may not fit on another.

i have just rung my bike shop and they say they can help out.... so, im gonna drop in on the way home and see.
otherwise, i may take you up on the offer, i can wait til friday!!

Always call the supplier and deny they were there in the first place :roll: , maybe get a few mailed to you
