Restrictor Kit SV650s
 

Hi.
Can anyone tell me where I would get a 33bhp restrictor kit for a 99 Suzuki SV650S.

I have asked Suzuki and they have quoted me over €500 for one which fits to the ECU of the bike. This is too expensive.

Your help would be appreciated

hi mate..

for a 99 model you are looking at two types of kit..

an "F1" kit witch consists of 2 washers under the carbs to restrict the intake,

or the official suzuki carb restrictor that restricts the ability of air passing through the carb.

If i remember correctly they are both about 100 - 140£ fitted..

there is no ECU restriction avalable for the 99-02 sv 650

I'd go with the FI international ones. I have them on my bike, and provided you pay labour to have them fitted, they give you the certificate and everything, wasn't hard work anyway!
