Hey all,

This is a bit of a long shot, but does anyone know of a late 50's early 60's BSA 500 or 650cc twin going for grabs? Basket case or boxa bits prefered
I'm getting bored again and want another heap to throw my money at!!!!

Can't help with sourcing a bike but just wanted to say what a good choice! My Dad's got an 1957 A7 and I think it's the mutts nuts. Great fun to ride. The A series are quite underrated I think.

Ohhh, tempting, buuut NO!

Cheers Matey, been helping my neighbour with his AJS, finally got it started (with fresh petrol). Sitting there I got thinking "This is nice" So I want sommat to got with this:

I find that the Beeza is so different from my other bikes, even the SV, that I don't tend to try and change gear with the wrong foot. It normally goes wrong when I'm braking, and changing down. Then my left foot gets really confused! The biggest problem I have with it is remembering the brakes are so poor, compared with modern stuff. Still it means I get to go through the corners quicker! :shock:

Ach, you get used to the foot stuff being round t'other way. One up, three down, on the right side too - magic!

I used to think that as well until I blew the dust off her. Although I got the right side for gears, it was the up and down bit that threw me :oops:

Still, after I remembered 1 up 2 down I took great pleasure in scaring the hell out of my neighbourhood screaming the nuts out of her whilst going 20mph :twisted: :twisted:
