cleaning the inside of my shoei lid?

i read somewhere to use baby shampoo to wash the lining, then rinse out with the shower head.

Is this right, getting the inside soaking wet sounds weird. won't this do any damage? :D

Cheers people

I wash my Suomy with luke warm water & 'Simple' (additive free) shower gel... Then leave it to dry naturally (i.e. not near any heat source etc.)

Doesn't hurt it at all

I would not use a shower head amount of water...it will never dry out...I suggest a damp sponge with small amount of soapiness...
