Tyre Warmers
 

Hi,

Call me daft but only recently I heard of the Tyre Warmers! and that tyres need to be warmed up!

Please can someone put some light on the subject Who, Why and When its required?

Tyre warmers are only ever used on the track. As for the road, just ride sensibly for the first couple of miles as your tyres won't reach optimum grip until they're at a reasonable temperature, which is caused over a period of time as the tyre walls flex and produce heat from friction.
