Tony Blair on Parkinson now. BBC1

Oh dear, our leader the Rt Hon Tony Blair, is on parkinson.

Apparently he says that he speaks to God, and that God will judge him on Iraq.

Any one want do draw comparisons between him and GWB?

 :?

Hmm seems to be coming off very charismatic. But i think the religion line is a silly thing to say for a british PM in modern society.

What are your views?

Or dont we do politics here? :?

I quite like what he has said- I have no political bias at all.
but I find him humorous..

humerous-(with bad teeth !!)

Maybe not, but it'll go down a treat with the after-dinner circuit in the USA.

Not of course that Mr Blair will be exploiting the US after dinner circuit when he gives up the premiership in the next couple of years... oh no.. heaven forbid!

I hate him with a passion, but I have marginally more respect for him after seeing him on Parkinson than I did before.

It was the only time I've ever seen him talk and not felt it was an "act". Not saying it was sincere; perhaps he was just more convincing this time.

i thought he seems like a decent fella .......hes a bit of a crap PM and our country is in dire straits but he seems ok...

quite funny really

I saw this. I couldn't help but feel that he was softening up the US market for when he eventually quits and goes on lecture tours over there.
