Clutch Interchangeability

Any difference between the clutch assy on 99, 2000 and SK1 models ? Looking at a spare clutch for 99 / 00 and there is one from an SK1 for sale. Just realised I'm assuming the clutch hasn't changed and thought I'd better check.

Cheers Keith

Pretty sure they haven't. Not 100% but all the engine-end bits are the same, no reason to think they'd change the controls.

Having built an SV lump from bits from a 99,2001 and k2, I didn't come across any incompatabilities, so I'd say they are the same.

Cheers Mark.

clutch assembly? what part? lever, clutch perch, cable, clutch release mechanism, clutch basket with springs fibre & steel plates

these parts are normal wear items, are they so expensive new that you are considering a half worn out used part?

See 'For Sale' Section. For my son's SV. He ain't got much money and is clutch is starting to play up a bit. For the price (£10 for the basket and plates) thought it would be a good buy if there's a fair amount of life in it.
