Scottoiler - getting it to stay in position
 

Just taken the bike out today for its first run of the year. When i got in i noticed the tube had moved out of positino and was probably dropping oil on the floor rather than on the chain. I ran the tube guide underneath the swingarm and secured it with cable ties. The tube at the end has been bent inwards to drip onto the sprocket but im not sure how i can stop it from rotating. Any ideas?

Modify the delivery tube plate to fit on the paddock stand bobbin mount, much better alignment and doesn't move.

Yes, use the bobbin mount. Bolt a short piece of flexible steel bracket to it, then attach the Scottoiler tube with a hose clamp (jubilee clip). Make sure the steel inner tube is in the plastic tube, so it keeps its shape. Otherwise, switch to the dual injector: its very easy to locate, and does a better job.

Just checked: sorry don't have a photo of the old setup with the hose clamp and single injector, but here is the dual, which is very stable. It has a locating block with double-sided tape, and is held in place by zip ties.

The dual injector is a waste of time and money.

Mine wasn't a waste of money, I got it for free 8)

mine always drips on the ground when on the sidestand, as soon as I tip it vertical, it drips on the sprocket

Wot no black cable ties?

Shame that, it spoils the look a bit. Works the same I know, but it's something to do with looking "professional" if you catch my drift. Real nice clean chain.
